Artifact Sources and Missing Relics

When the game says you are missing a relic or the Great World Spire shows 7/8 artifacts, do not keep grinding random drops blindly. Some artifacts are normal choices, but several late-game artifacts come from specific gates, bosses, or unlock chains.
First Checks

Unlock Alchemy prestige, buy 8 Scientists in the Grand Laboratory, then run Alchemy until the Philosopher's Stone path pays out. | The common late blocker is Philosopher's Stone. Forge Artifact, Treasure Hunters, and dens do not replace the Alchemy requirement. |

Repeatable Artifact Systems

Missing-Relic Triage

| Should I keep running dens for a missing spire piece? | Only if the missing piece is actually a normal artifact. If it is Philosopher's Stone, Nauglamir, Goblin Crown, Dragon's Egg, Mountain Core, or Shadowflame Whip, use the source listed above. |
| Should I spend Mithril on Forge Artifact immediately? | Not if it blocks Alchemy or the damage needed to clear special mountains. Forge Artifact is strong, but it is not a substitute for every source-specific artifact. |
| Do Treasure Hunters replace boss or gate rewards? | No. Treat them as a repeatable artifact route, not as a bypass for special mountain rewards or the Triple Seal Gate. |
| What should I do before prestiging? | If a special artifact or Alchemy check is within reach, finish it. If not, prestige and spend PP on faster damage, Mithril, den rewards, or unlocks. |
