Late game is about turning normal clears into permanent advantages, required artifacts, special mountain progress, and ascension-starting resources.

Buying more damage when rare currency is the wall.If mithril, soul, or a missing artifact blocks every useful purchase, fix that economy before another weapon tier.
Ignoring start resources.Starting mithril, soul, artifact, and runner prestige can remove repeated dead time from every late reset.
